Job Description Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of ingredients, packaging materials, and other production inputs required to meet manufacturing and customer demand. The role involves balancing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, managing supply risks, and working closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations while minimizing cost and waste
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1- Material Planning
- Accountable for the ordering of all Raw Materials from suppliers so as to ensure manufacturing requirements are met and the inventory policy adhered to.
- Accountable for developing valid delivery receipt plans to ensure raw material inventory availability to meet production plan.
- Responsible for the accuracy of planning parameters through the effective utilization of systems and resources.
- Accountable for the development of an inventory policy that meets the needs of the business and ensures flexibility.
- Support the plant supply chain with the accurate and detailed information within the plant to enable other functions to provide a service within the supply chain framework
- Support the value creation projects from the material by introducing a new ideas in the supply chain business
- Responsible for the POR target
- Daily follow up with Suppliers to insure on time deliveries.
- Participating in managing supply projects.
- Coordinate with other CPS planning functions so as to ensure Global customer demands are met.
- Review weeks of stock on a weekly basis or as necessary and take action accordingly
- Reviewing purchased quantities, to minimize shipping costs through optimizing required quantities, (by consolidating shipments and/or changing from Air freight to Sea freight) by precise communication with all plant departments.
2-Business Planning
- Regularly follow up the deliveries and SAP exceptional messages to avoid overstock or out of stock situation.
- To participate in the weekly receiving plan to adjust final delivery dates in plant.
RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems within supply chain or operations environments is preferred.
- Solid understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier management processes.
- Proven ability to analyze operational data, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and multitasking skills in fast-paced operational settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
