Job Description Summary:
The Azure Integration Developer supports the design and delivery of cloud‑based middleware and integration solutions by translating business requirements and technical specifications into working applications. The role focuses on building and deploying scalable Azure solutions using microservices architectures and enterprise integration patterns, and contributing to the development of secure API Management layers that enable seamless system connectivity. Working closely with senior developers and cross‑functional teams, the role emphasizes learning best practices, ensuring code quality through testing and code reviews, and assisting in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and CI/CD deployments. Operating in an Agile environment, the Azure Integration Developer adheres to enterprise development and security standards while contributing to the continuous delivery of reliable, high‑quality integration solutions.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Develop & Build: Assist in translating business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications into working middleware IT solutions.
Implement Solutions: Build and deploy scalable Azure cloud solutions using established microservices architectures and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
API Development: Help implement secure API Management layers to expose backend systems to internal applications and external partners.
Ensure Quality: Write effective unit and integration tests, and actively participate in code reviews to ensure reliability and code quality.
Collaborate & Learn: Work closely with senior developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to integrate diverse systems, continuously learning best practices for enterprise-scale integration.
Support & Optimize: Assist in investigating defects and performance issues in internal applications, providing fixes, and deploying new versions via automated pipelines.
Maintain Standards: Follow company development and security standards, and help maintain clear, accurate application documentation.
Agile Delivery: Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, contributing to a team that continuously delivers high-quality code to production.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Core Development: 1–3 years of software application development experience (C#.NET or Java preferred).
Cloud Experience: 1+ years of hands-on exposure to Azure cloud-based development (Microsoft Azure Certifications are a plus).
Integration Stack: Familiarity with or project experience using Azure Integration Services, such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, EventHub, KeyVault, or Azure API Management (APIM).
API Design: Understanding of RESTful API development concepts and familiarity with tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
Scripting: Basic scripting skills for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
DevOps: Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub.
Systems Engineering: Foundational understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and an eagerness to learn enterprise systems engineering principles.
