Meet the Team:

The Cisco MX QA team takes pride in ensuring the end-to-end system of the Cisco Meraki MX and Cisco Catalyst product line is ready to use. The team works on, but is not limited to, testing customer use cases, integration testing, scalability testing, stress and longevity testing. This team is also responsible for qualifying security services such as malware detection, URL filtering, web security, IPS, threat model, SD-WAN and SaaS/IaaS security capabilities all through a single Cisco Meraki Dashboard. Our products are used in over a million networks and our customers rely on our products to serve tens of millions of people. With the large footprint that we have, quality is our highest priority.

Your Impact:

As a Software QA Engineer, You will be involved in developing the detailed test steps based on the use cases and workflows of the MX solution deployed in the customer environment for the Test Plans created by Lead and/or Senior engineers. Most of the work time will be spent in execution of tests and reporting test results, and but not limited to use AI productivity tools and techniques available. In parallel, you will also be developing automated test scripts ahead of feature testing to enable CI/CD (i.e. Automation Driven Testing). Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master of Science Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)

• 2-3 yrs of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test in routing domain

• Fair knowledge of SDWAN or Securit or Layer-2(VLAN/802.1Q) or Layer-3 (BGP/IP/OSPF/VPN/IPSec/NAT)

• Knowledge in writing quality code with one of the programming languages such as Ruby, Python, and Golang.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and Gen-AI prompting techniques

• Understanding of traffic generation patterns, using TRex, Linux Tools, Spirent/IXIA

• Working experience with Cisco Meraki or Cisco Catalyst Devices
