Develop and execute bench level tests according the validation plan during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases to ensure product meets functionality and performance as per the datasheet
Bench test and debug of embedded on-chip circuitry (amplifiers, data converters, power converters, etc.) to ensure functionality and performance as per the datasheet.
Work with Validation and Production Test engineering peers to implement best practices and continuous improvements to Cirrus Logic backend test methodologies.
Collaborate closely with Design, Systems, and Application Engineers to understand requirements and use cases.
Design, develop, and debug silicon validation board-level hardware and bring-up the platforms prior to first silicon.
Develop automated test framework and regression test suites in Python to optimize validation efficiency.
Analyse test results and identify failures/defects using business intelligence tools such as Spotfire
Write technical reports/summaries of all data collected.
Bachelors degree in Electronics or other related subject area, and relevant experience in a related field.
Advanced electrical engineering knowledge in audio electronics, analog, digital or power electronics.
Solid hands-on experience in lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, audio analyzers, logic analysers, spectrum analysers for measurement and debugging issues
Sound electrical engineering knowledge in analog, digital, power electronics or audio engineering. This includes mixed signal building blocks such as ADC, DAC, PLLs, amplifiers, signal processing and measurement, IC control/communication protocols
Self-motivated with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail - you will need to understand silicon, board and software interactions
A highly driven approach to problem solving
