Key Responsibilities:
Designation: Facility Manager II, Band – P6
Facility Management:
- Ensure that all electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems are operational 24/7
- Ensure that all Janitorial/maintenance staff follow the laid down procedures pertaining to service delivery, conduct and grooming standards at site. Supervise all day-to-day activities for helpdesk, maintenance, and Janitorial team.
- Responsible for understanding & ensuring proper functioning of the office infrastructure and managing facilities.
- Data Center management and improvements to achieve 100% uptime and be the primary contact for the data center team not to exceed load thresholds of the critical equipment
- Continue to monitor DC load and conduct regular preventive maintenance Tin order to make the infrastructure more robust and energy efficient.
- Project Management: - responsible for all the coordination with various stakeholders, vendors, architects for project execution, expansion and improvement projects onsite with on-time deliverables.
- Meeting Leadership expectations and coordinating various projects and improvements with the site head and Facilities Director on periodic basis
- Maintenance of fire safety equipment, implementation of corrective and planned preventive maintenance schedules.
- Oversee timely closure of employee concerns and requests pertaining to Facilities.
- Cafeteria and pantry management.
- Ensure administration staff members are trained in best practices in their roles.
- Structured tracking and reporting of carbon emissions/footprint on monthly basis to ESG team
- Oversee deployment and staffing of cleaning staff, domestic staff for non-technical facilities.
- In charge of inventory control, check and stock stationery, paper, other consumables, and issue of purchase requisitions.
- Maintaining MIS data, daily report, weekly report, Monthly report etc.
- Provide reports to management regularly on the activities managed and cost improvement initiatives.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities in one or more areas covering materials procurement, engineered/designed goods, inventory management, contracts/services procurement without compromising quality.
- Preparation of annual facilities budget for all relevant requirement e.g., capex, opex, services etc.
- Contract management: To identify resourceful vendors, review their performance periodically and ensure SLAs are maintained.
- Develop, communicate, and execute comprehensive facility management strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and values.
- Oversee and lead a team responsible for maintenance, repairs, and renovations of our office facilities to ensure optimal functionality, aesthetics, and safety.
- Establish and nurture relationships with vendors, service providers, and contractors, ensuring effective contract negotiation, compliance, and quality service delivery.
- Strategically plan and manage office space utilization, layout, and allocation, aiming to maximize collaboration, creativity, and employee satisfaction.
- Monitor, analyze, and manage facility-related budgets, expenses, and procurement activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
- Implement and enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental protocols, ensuring full compliance with regulations and a secure workplace.
- Hazardous Material management
- Rapidly respond to and resolve facility-related emergencies, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity
Key Requirements:
- Educational background: Preferred BE & MBA and hands-on experience in corporate Real Estate, Facility Management or related field (preferred).
- 12 to 15 Years of experience in track record in facility management and administration leadership roles.
- Data Center management expertise and experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities to meet demanding deadlines
The annual salary range for California is $126,000 to $234,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
