+ Perform electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
+ Modify and review production drawings for a variety of projects including, but not limited to: renewable facilities (including BESS, Solar, T&D, generation).
+ Design electrical components for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
+ Apply strong knowledge of commonly used electrical engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry.
+ Research and compile project related data as required by the project managers.
+ Update drawings provided by senior engineers to verify corrections are made within multiple CAD related softwares.
+ Compile information for client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration for the design of renewable facilities (including BESS, Solar, T&D, generation).
+ Perform field and shop inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
+ Telecommuting is allowed up to 30 days per year.
+ Primarily domestic travel up to 25% based on project needs.
+ Multiple positions available.
**Qualifications**
+ Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical or engineering technology\*, or a related field from an ABET accredited program plus three (3) years electrical engineering experience.
+ A bachelor’s degree in any electrical or engineering technology field must be accompanied with completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
+ Alternatively, the employer will accept a master’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited program plus two (2) years of electrical engineering experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of described experience.Must have two (2) years of experience in the following:
+ Standard engineering techniques and procedures.
+ AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, 2D and 3D rendering programs.
+ Load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash system studies utilizing ETAP, SKM, EasyPower or similar software.
+ Battery sizing, one line development, and facility layout generation.
+ Detailed design on BESS facilities ranging from 50MW-250MW with interconnection voltages ranging from 480V to 345kV .
+ Evaluating energy storage technology and providing guidance for clients on the best technology for the application.
+ Telecommuting is allowed up to 30 days per year.
+ Primarily domestic travel up to 25% based on project needs.
+ 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $107,952/year.
