**Description** **Job Description** **Transmission Line Designer** ·Proficient in the English language. ·Proven verbal and written communication. ·Knowledge of overhead transmission line construction methods is preferable ·Experience with various CADD tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, Google Earth, Revit, Civil3D. ·The preparation of engineering drawings like Plan & Profile, permitting, assembly and structure framing/loading drawings, reports and designs to support engineers. ·Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems. ·Picking up the markups as per the client requirement. ·Communicating with engineers and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings. ·Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the engineering team. ·Work independently but with some engineering guidance on complex projects ·Ensuring final designs are compliant with regulations. ·Identifying and communicating potential design/drafting problems to the rest of the team. ·Participate in technical meetings with clients. ·Ownership responsibility in the assigned work is required. **Qualifications** **Qualifications** ·Diploma in Civil/Electrical with 1-10 years of experience OR ITI in Civil/Electrical with 3-10 years of experience as CADD designer. ·Minimum 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Office Suite and drafting AutoCAD.
