Burns & McDonnell's Power global practice is seeking to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer who will work on project teams to create world-class solar power generation designs for new projects in a variety of project locations. The Staff Electrical Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting electrical plans according to budget constraints, design factors and client requirements.
Responsibilities to include:
+ Perform electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion. This includes collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop equipment layouts, one-line diagrams, cable routing, communications systems design, grounding design, equipment selection, and equipment specifications.Modify and review electrical drawings.
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program, and 4 years of electrical engineering experience.OR a bachelor's degree in electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and 4 years of electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred.
$105,000.00-170,000.00 Yearly The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
