The Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing project control activities for OGC projects, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This role involves planning, monitoring, and controlling project performance to ensure successful project execution within scope, schedule, and budget. A candidate should have relevent project controls experience in Oil & Gas or Similiar projects.
+ Develop, maintain, and baseline integrated project schedules in Primavera P6 (or equivalent), ensuring alignment with scope, WBS, and execution strategy.
+ Perform Critical path and schedule health checks; identify slippage, float consumption, and schedule risks; propose recovery/mitigation actions.
+ Establish Progress measurement methods (physical % complete, rules of credit) drive timely updates with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Subcontractors.
+ Prepare and present weekly/monthly project controls dashboards: Schedule KPIs, Productivity, progress curves (S-curves), milestones, and look-ahead plans.
+ Implement Earned Value Management (EVM). PV/EV/AC tracking, SPI/CPI analysis, trend forecasting (EAC/ETC), and variance narratives.
+ Support Cost control activities: Budget/cost code setup, commitments, cost forecasting, accruals, and change impact assessment.
+ Manage the Change Management process: Log/register changes, assess time/cost impacts, support approvals, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
+ Maintain Risk and opportunity registers; Facilitate risk reviews; quantify schedule/cost exposure and integrate key risks into forecasts.
+ Ensure data integrity across reports by reconciling inputs from multiple sources; standardize templates and reporting cadence for stakeholders (including US counterparts).
+ Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to translate findings into actionable recommendations and drive closure of corrective actions.
+ Support project close-out activities: Final reporting, lessons learned, and archiving of schedules/cost data in accordance with governance requirements.
+ Continuously improve processes and tools (Excel/Power BI, Automation in reporting) to enhance visibility and decision-making.
**Qualifications**
The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in Mechanical/Process/Civil/Electrical .The candidate should have a work experience of 4-10 years.
