Description The Director, Enterprise Transformation & Global IT serves as a strategic technology partner to the business, leading a portfolio of initiatives originating and driven by our corporate intake processes, the Blue Horizon transformation program, and our corporate shared services departments.
This role is primarily focused on shaping and executing the technology strategy that supports our most critical enterprise transformation efforts. In parallel, the Director is responsible for strengthening and maturing key IT service capabilities, including intake, portfolio management, resource management, and project management, while also overseeing enterprise-wide technology products.
Working closely with IT and business leaders across the organization, this role drives the design, development, and execution of our global IT capabilities. The ideal candidate is a versatile leader who can drive large-scale strategic planning while ensuring the reliability and performance of essential enterprise systems and services.
Core Responsibilities
- Global Transformation Technology Strategy and Execution:
- From a technology perspective, spearhead the discovery, planning and implementation phases for enterprise programs. Partner with the Enterprise Transformation Office (EXO) and operational leaders to define a clear strategy and roadmap, while guiding key architectural decisions. This includes guiding the selection of our future core financial ERP system and the successful rollout of Oracle Fusion, while aligning people, business, technology, and global technology delivery for a successful implementation.
- Executive Collaboration & Decision-Making: Act as the primary technology liaison/leader to the EXO and impacted operational leaders and SMEs. Support and guide stakeholders through a structured framework to make timely decisions that balance global consistency with local business needs, prioritizing choices based on what capabilities differentiate our business versus what the industry standard is.
- Global IT Strategy Leadership
- Define and align people, process and technology strategy across the globe (US, Canada, UK, India, Mexico), ensuring consistency with enterprise priorities and local execution realities.
- Establish and drive a unified global IT operating model, aligning governance, decision frameworks, and delivery structures.
- Define and execute a global IT talent strategy, including workforce planning, capability building, and leadership pipeline development.
- Serve as an integrator of global teams into a unified operating model with clear accountability, performance metrics, and delivery standards.
- Drive global transparency through standardized reporting, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
- Corporate Services Delivery Lead
- Perform as the lead business partner, consultant and thought leader for our Corporate Services internal partner-clients, including but not limited to:
- Tech Stack Efficiency & Optimization: In partnership with product owners, lead periodic reviews of the corporate services technology stack, evaluating both financial (cost, ROI) and non-financial (performance, scalability, risk) effectiveness globally.
- Data & Governance Collaboration: Partner with Data and Governance functions to ensure global adherence to enterprise standards.
- Issue Prioritization & Resolution: Accountable for identifying, prioritizing, and resolving technology issues impacting Corporate Services, including impact assessment to minimize business disruption.
- Strengthen communication with Corporate Services and key leaders, inclusive of risks, issues, and decisions.
- Enterprise Capability Ownership: Accountable to lead and develop Portfolio Management, Intake, Resource Management, Project Management, Solution Architecture, and the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance functions.
- Technology Product Ownership: Accountable for the product lifecycle for key enterprise technology platforms, including but not limited to Confluence and Jira. Ensure we have a solid vision, strategy, and roadmap for these products, working with stakeholders across the company to ensure they evolve to meet business needs and drive productivity, transparently linking out strategies to projects to the work and vice-versa.
- Provide support and oversight of vendor strategy, talent management, and operational excellence across the global IT organization.
- Recruit, hire, develop, manage, and retain outstanding employee‑owners.
- Interpret organizational policies, purposes, and goals for Department Managers.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited program and 14 years of related professional experience, including 7 years of managing teams, is required.
