Brown Advisory is seeking a professional, proactive, and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide executive support to senior leaders within the Institutional Business. This individual will serve as a trusted partner who anticipates needs, drives efficiency, helps executives operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and routinely handles highly confidential business information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to senior Institutional Business leaders, acting as a trusted partner who anticipates needs, prioritizes competing demands, and drives efficient execution.
Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange domestic and international travel.
Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of executives, serving as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Schedule, organize, and prepare materials and technology for meetings; coordinate meeting agendas, capture and distribute meeting notes, action items, and follow-up requests when appropriate, and assist with internal and external events where support is required.
Coordinate activities, priorities, and follow-up items on behalf of senior leaders to help ensure effective execution and communication across teams.
Compile information and prepare recurring reports, presentations, and materials for executive review.
Prepare, edit, and format presentations, reports, board materials, and other executive communications, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and consistency.
Build strong working relationships across the firm and serve as a trusted point of coordination among executives, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with other Executive Assistants and administrative professionals to ensure seamless support, effective coordination, and consistent execution across leadership teams.
Exercise independent judgment in managing priorities, resolving issues, and escalating matters appropriately.
Demonstrate curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve efficiency, and thoughtfully leverage new technologies and tools, including AI-enabled productivity solutions.
Assist with various other needs of executives, ensuring tasks and special projects are managed efficiently and with discretion.
Uphold the highest levels of confidentiality.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7–10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives and managing complex priorities in a fast-paced, professional services, financial services, or similarly dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
Experience proofreading, copy editing, and preparing professionally formatted materials preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage shifting demands while maintaining professionalism and composure.
Demonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and openness to learning new technologies and ways of working.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with senior leaders, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Illustrates tact, discretion, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
Work Arrangement
This position is based in our Baltimore office and requires in-office presence five days per week, with flexibility to work remotely on an ad hoc basis subject to business needs. Occasional flexibility may be needed to support early morning, evening, or travel-related business needs.
Salary: $70-85k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
