This site is the integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center. It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.

Manufacturing Plant: The plant is producing two major product categories: connectors and fuel injection units. Connectors are a booming segment with growth potential in the ICE- and EV-market. The factory is also the first plant for the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of producing millions of fuel injector units every year and can meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.

R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.

Job Description

• Assist R&D engineers in material science and engineering activities.
• Prepare and support the testing of specimens for material characterization and analysis.
• Conduct material analysis using laboratory equipment and standard test methods.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate activities and maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to laboratory management, 5S activities, and continuous laboratory development.

Qualifications

• Internship period of 6 months or longer is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science/Engineering fields
• Knowledge in Material Science, Material failure analysis, Material investigation (SEM, EDX, Microscope, Sample preparation, etc.) is beneficial.
• Fluent in Thai and Good in English

Additional Information

Duration: 6 - 12 months

Requirement for this internship is the enrollment at university. 

Working conditions:
•  Monday to Friday, 8:00 am. – 5:30 pm.
•  Monthly allowance and housing allowance
•  Free lunch & transportation
•  Vacation eligibility: 1 day / month
