The Bosch Research and Technology Center North America with offices in Sunnyvale, California, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Cambridge, Massachusetts is part of the global Bosch Group (www.bosch.com), a company with over 70 billion euro revenue, 400,000 people worldwide, a very diverse product portfolio, and a history of over 125 years. The Research and Technology Center North America (RTC-NA) is committed to providing technologies and system solutions for various Bosch business fields primarily in the areas of Human Machine Interaction (HMI), Robotics, Energy Technologies, Internet Technologies, Circuit Design, Semiconductors and Wireless, and MEMS Advanced Design.*
Our Bosch Research team occupies a critical position between academic research and product development, distinguishing us from many other companies. We engage with academia, incubate ideas, advance them to the prototype stage, and collaborate with development teams in our business units to support product development based on our research outcomes. We are seeking a research scientist with a strong academic background, proven industry experience, and a passion for tackling complex, real-world problems in molecular diagnostics.
Our R&D center is located in Sunnyvale, CA, USA. This is in the heart of Silicon Valley in close proximity to Stanford University and UC Berkeley. The candidate will be a key contributor to our research and development efforts, from conceptualization to the creation of novel technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with industry experience who is eager to make a significant impact in the field of molecular sensors and biotechnology.
Responsibilities:
This is a U.S. based position, domestic relocation and local sponsorship considered on a per candidate basis.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 - $200,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
