The Product Cost Controller will be part of the growing finance team at Bosch Roseville and serve as the site expert for product cost calculation, forecasting, and analysis. The individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining product costing processes in accordance with Bosch corporate standards while providing transparency into product cost development. The role will partner closely with manufacturing and engineering to analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for product cost improvement. The successful candidate works independently in SAP R/3 and conducts detailed product cost simulations, variance analysis, and reporting for operational and executive management.
Responsibilities
Process owner for product cost calculations at the Roseville plant; implementing this new process at Roseville plant and ensuring compliance with Bosch corporate calculation standards
Perform business plan and long-term business case product cost calculations, including validation of master data, routings, bills of material (BOMs), activity rates, and cost allocation methodologies
Execute detailed variance analysis versus plan, understand root causes, drive corrective actions, and highlight risks and opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing and engineering to understand key cost drivers and opportunities for cost improvement
Work independently in the SAP R/3 CO-module
Prepare financial presentations and support financial reviews for local executive management
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement process in the finance area
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in an operations environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills with a proven business partner mindset
A self-motivated, conscientious, team player with strong business acumen. Ability to identify and develop solutions to business issues as they arise
Hands-on mentality with the willingness to flexibly work on new tasks in a dynamic environment
Preferred qualifications
Experience within a semiconductor manufacturing facility
Advanced SAP/R3 skills; ideally with experience in the SAP R/3 CO module
Experience with conducting product cost calculations and variance analysis

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position varies considerably depending upon qualifications. The base salary range for this position is $95,000-$125,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
