Position Responsibilities:
Supplier Recovery (Incident Response & Stabilization)
Serves as the single point of accountability for supplier-related and market driven service failures and escalations
Leads rapid response activities to contain impact and restore service, including coordination of cross-functional teams and supplier resources
Conducts structured root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCA), fishbone) and validate findings with stakeholders
Develops and drive corrective and preventive action plans (CAPAs) to full stabilization; include timelines, owners, milestones, and acceptance criteria
Provides regular status updates and recovery dashboards to senior stakeholders until closure
Supplier Management (Performance & Relationship)
Collaborates with category managers to implement supplier management programs (SLAs, scorecards, governance forums)
Leads strategic supplier partnership initiatives—continuous improvement, cost/risk reduction, service innovation—and supports contract/commercial discussions where required
Facilitates quarterly/annual business reviews quarterly business reviews (QBRs)/ annual business reviews (ABRs) and performance improvement plans for underperforming suppliers
Maintains supplier performance data, trends, and improvement roadmaps
Business Continuity & Risk Management
Drives supplier risk assessments (risk heatmaps, criticality analysis) and ongoing monitoring
Develops and maintains supplier-specific business continuity and contingency plans; validate via periodic exercises
Partners with business units and enterprise risk to identify systemic vulnerabilities and recommends mitigation strategies
Supports regulatory/compliance reporting and audit responses related to supplier resiliency
Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
Builds and maintains trusted relationships with program managers, site leads, and business stakeholders to anticipate needs and co-create solutions
Represents business perspectives in sourcing, supplier, and operational governance forums
Requirements Capture & Translation
Gathers and maintains a clear understanding of current and future business plans, program timelines, and site-level changes
Translates business requirements into actionable inputs for category managers, PAs, and suppliers (service levels, capacity requirements, lead-times, packaging, compliance, special handling)
Maintains a requirements register that feeds into sourcing strategies, supplier capacity planning, and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
Program Alignment & Change Management
Partners with category managers, procurement agents (PAs), and program teams to incorporate business changes into supplier contracts, operational plans, and continuous improvement projects.
Coordinates cross-functional readiness activities for program rollouts or changes (operational readiness, supplier onboarding, training, contingency planning)
Facilitates pre-launch and post-launch reviews to validate readiness and capture lessons learned
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in project management
3+ years of experience in supplier management and/or supply chain management and/or contracts
3+ years of experience developing & maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, and consulting on best practices
5+ years of experience managing supplier performance and developing/implementing performance improvement plans
5+ years of experience with data analytics
Experience with procurement, supplier management and logistics

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for CO, PA, VA, WA: $100,300 - $135,700
Summary pay range for AZ, MO, SC: $93,500 - $126,500
Summary pay range for Wichita, KS: $86,700 - $117,300
