You will design and scale state of the art data platforms that power critical business insights, regulatory compliance, and advanced analytics across the enterprise. To be successful as a Data Engineer - AVP, you should have:
Considerable hand-on experience working with large scale data platforms, delivering cloud-based data solutions with measurable business impact
Solid understanding of distributed computing and data architecture paradigms, with practical experience on AWS data platforms, including Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, Athena, and Databricks.
Experience designing and building batch data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large datasets
Ample understanding of IAM roles, cloud security, and AWS infrastructure, including secure data access patterns
Programming ability in Python and PySpark, along with advanced SQL skills, including query tuning and performance optimization
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Validated capability in data modelling and schema design, supporting analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption
Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab, embedding quality and automation into delivery
Sound knowledge of data governance standards, metadata oversight, and data quality frameworks, like Alation, Glue Data Quality, data mesh concepts
Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments, using project coordination tools and collaborating across engineering and business teams
Ability to propose and influence solution level architecture for diverse technology and business use cases

This role is located in our Whippany, NJ office.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
