Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Serve as Senior Pega Developer responsible for design, development and maintenance of overall applications including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, UI design providing scalable and resilient solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Design and implement PEGA Enterprise Class Rules, Flows, Activities, Reports, Correspondence, Case Management and Integrations, Data Pages, Agents, UI design, Dashboards, Reports, troubleshoot and debug. Utilize Pega Infinity, Cosmos UX, Containers, Configuration and Oracle database query optimization for performance testing execution, troubleshoot and fix issues identified in load volume test. Automate testing, package deployment and verification, and monitoring the application.
Responsibilities:
Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Automates manual release activities
Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
Analyze production issues and provide root cause resolution
Ensure Information Security findings and Audit compliance requirements are addressed
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role - PEGA CLSA, Oracle SQL, JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS3, SOAP, REST/JSON, XML, UI/COSMOS
Design and development of overall applications including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, UI design providing scalable and resilient solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Design and implement PEGA Enterprise Class Rules, Flows, Activities, Reports, Correspondence, Case Management and Integrations, Data Pages, Agents, UI design, Dashboards, Reports, troubleshoot and debug.
Utilize Pega Infinity, Cosmos UX, Containers, Configuration and Oracle database query optimization for performance testing execution, troubleshoot and fix issues identified in load volume test.
Automate testing, package deployment and verification, and monitoring the application.
Developing robust data modelling of Pega applications for enhanced development efficiency and data integrity.
Integrating Pega applications with external systems and technologies such as databases, messaging systems and webservices
Designing security features such as role-based access control and attribute-based access control for fine-grained control, dynamic access decisions and reduce administrative overhead of Pega based applications
Ensuring compliance with Pega best practices to achieve higher-quality application, increased efficiency, reduced risk and better maintainability
Fine tuning Pega applications to reduce latencies or delays in processing business workflows
