This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in backend systems, data engineering, MCP-based services, and AI-enabled applications. This role focuses on the design, development, and support of enterprise-scale applications and data platforms, with a strong emphasis on API-driven architectures, cloud-native development, and DevOps practices.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across Java, Python, and modern frameworks, thrives in complex and highly integrated environments, and is comfortable owning systems end-to-end—from architecture and implementation through production support and optimization.
Responsibilities:
Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Automates manual release activities
Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend and full stack applications using Java and Python
Build, integrate, and manage Model Context Protocol (MCP) services to support AI/LLM-driven workflows and integrations
Architect and implement RESTful and event-driven APIs for internal and external consumers
Apply clean architecture principles, SOLID design patterns, and secure coding standards
Required Qualifications
4+ years of full‑stack development experience with Angular and React
Strong understanding of Global Markets products, including Fixed Income and Equity pricing and analytics
Expertise in Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, along with backend development in Java and/or C# (.NET)
Experience building and integrating AI-driven solutions, with working knowledge of Python and MCP (Model Context Protocol) frameworks for intelligent workflows and data orchestration
Familiarity with financial data/analytics tools (e.g., OpenBB) is a plus
Experience with Liferay portal development (Portlets, Layouts, Themes) preferred
Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible)
Experience with MS Build, NuGet
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role
Frontend experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks
Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures
Strong CI/CD and DevOps background (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Background in high-volume, data-intensive, or regulated systems
