This job is responsible for leading the planning, designing, and implementation of complex infrastructure solutions to meet deployment requirements aligned with available playbooks and technical blueprints. Key responsibilities include providing and communicating technology solutions across audiences and overseeing projects and activities related to special initiatives or operations. Job expectations include leading the resolution process for problems, adhering to defined practices and policies to obtain results, and establishing input/output processes and working parameters for systems.
The Application Owner/Primary Bank Contact is accountable to manage applications in compliance with all applicable bank policies and standards and meet the objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) required of the function it supports. They will work closely with the Risk, GIS and Application teams to ensure the Application Governance related deliverable are maintained to the standards and timelines that the Bank requires. This individual is critical to the operation of the platform and implementation of its projects and will coordinate with internal clients/systems/owners and risk/GIS areas. Individual will also be subject matter expert for application owner responsibilities senior engineer/architect knowledge base would be required. Position will also be responsible for collecting and interpreting Subject Matter Expert input into all application ownership/governance/risk/technical deliverables and reporting as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfills requests from business users and operations, communicates technical status updates with appropriate teams, and oversees stability, resiliency, reliability, and the performance of multiple supported systems
- Mentors other team members and provides technical leadership
- Captures and translates business requirements into complex infrastructure and/or system design for specific implementations and collaborates with technology stakeholders, Solution Delivery Management teams, Technology Project Management teams, Solutions Engineering teams, and technical service providers for system design and deployment
- Supports change implementations, proactively identifies and resolves potential issues resulting from the changes, and performs access and/or physical provisioning/deprovisioning (additions, modifications, and deletions) for infrastructure and applications
- Provides consulting services to Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) and technical partners, executes procedures reliably, and escalates appropriately to solve incidents quickly
- Provides release support when needed and manages engagement across audiences
- Provides full lifecycle management of the infrastructure and application environments
- Support the ServiceNow platform implementation and sustainability
- Manage products such that operational risks inherent with the use of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Not Permitted Technology (NPT)
- Ensure that a Technical Recovery Plan (TRP) is completed, reviewed, updated and approved annually (every 365 days)
- Support TCOA reviews as needed and yearly review of cost of applications
- Quarterly capacity planning review and approval
- Quarterly sox attestation
- BRE rules review and updates, as needed
- Responsible for owning and managing the completion of the Application Governance deliverables including:
- ARM Approval for all AITs
- Access reviews for all service IDs
- Permit to Send maintenance and renewals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position: functional or technical analyst, developer, preferably within a support context
- Proven senior contributor, with application owner experience and excellent communication skills responsible for Senior leadership communication reporting
- Individual must be comfortable working closely with Risk, GIS, Architecture, development teams
- BPA (former econnect) approvals and non-conforming firewall rule review
- RISE deliverables, Vulnerabilities ownership
- New PTO functions for app owners (Arm on boarding, ADSF scan and P2/ERPs)
- DR/Resiliency Activities
- Trident surveys
- AppHQ maintenance, certification, and attestation
- BTConverge
- RIMS Enterprise records management maintenance
