Job Description:
This job is responsible for driving efforts to develop and deliver complex data solutions to accomplish technology and business goals. Key responsibilities include leading code design and delivery tasks with the integration, cleaning, transformation and control of data in operational and analytical data systems. Job expectations include liaising with vendors and working with stakeholders and Product and Software Engineering teams to implement data requirements, analyzing performance, and researching and troubleshooting issues within system engineering domains.
Overview:
Lead requirement gathering with application, analytics, and AI teams to enable necessary IICS capabilities, cloud services, and AI/ML data integrations. Own end-to-end cloud first IICS platform setup, including Organizations, secure agents (cloud and hybrid), connections, role based access control (RBAC), and permissions. Define and enforce cloud data platform standards, including security, governance, lineage, observability, and responsible AI data usage. Influence adoption of AI assisted data integration, intelligent automation, and metadata driven pipelines where applicable. Lead the design, development, and migration of cloud scale Informatica assets and data pipelines across multiple environments and Organizations. Design and optimize pipelines that support AI/ML model training, real time analytics, and data driven decisioning. Guide delivery of complex data transformations, data quality rules, metadata management, and workload orchestration in cloud and hybrid environments. Partner with Data Science and Analytics teams to ensure high quality, governed, and AI ready datasets. Architect and maintain cloud native CI/CD pipelines supporting Informatica, infrastructure as code, and data pipeline deployments across Orgs and Sub Orgs. Drive automation and AI assisted monitoring of platform utilization, performance, and cost efficiency; proactively remediate bottlenecks. Establish observability practices leveraging cloud monitoring, Operational Insights, and log analytics to ensure operational resilience. Lead troubleshooting of complex cloud secure agent, network, and IICS runtime issues, performing deep root cause analysis. Job Description – Feature Lead / Senior ETL Platform Engineer This role is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and evolution of cloud based, AI enabled data integration and analytics platforms to meet enterprise technology and business goals. The Lead drives architectural decisions across Informatica (on-premise and cloud), public cloud services, and AI driven data capabilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and high performance data solutions. The role partners with Product, Application, Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Data Science teams to implement data and AI requirements, optimize platform performance, and resolve complex system engineering challenges. This position also provides technical leadership, governance, and mentorship across data, cloud, and AI initiatives.
