Position Summary :
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry. This job is responsible for the development of data architectural solutions for complex initiatives within one or more lines of business and control functions. Key responsibilities include assisting solution-driven discussions, supporting adherence to the enterprise data management policy and standards, and supporting architecture design reviews to ensure integration of data architecture principles in technology solutions. Job expectations include understanding enterprise data architectural principles and data management processes and routines.

Responsibilities:

Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Establishes data solutions and architecture for large, complex initiatives that align with the enterprise data architecture strategy and technology and platform decisions
Provides clear and concise responses to questions regarding the enterprise data architecture strategy
Contributes to multiple priorities in a matrixed environment with attention to detail and accuracy
Communicates effectively to influence agreement between partners and escalates items, as needed, to ensure execution activities remain on track
Ensures all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies and standards are met
Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment to resolve organizational impediments and blockers
Shares enterprise data architectural principles, processes, and routines
Execute DB2 Sailfish to DB2 Cloud Rack migrations including environment and configuration validation.
Validate infrastructure, database configuration, network connectivity, and access controls.
Perform functionality, performance, stress, scalability, and failover testing.
