This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

This role codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. They are familiar with development and testing practices of the bank.
DevEx is a growing department within the Global Technology division at Bank of America that is responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
- Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
- Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
- Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Improving the experience for our developers, making it easier to deliver industry-leading solutions, while managing work efficiently and with the right controls

- Reducing risk and improving quality across our technology portfolio by aligning to a single enterprise architecture strategy and delivering governance that enables consistency, integration, and automation
Required Qualifications:
- Broad and deep experience designing solutions across varied software development platforms and environments including GitHub CoPilot and Microsoft CoPilot Studio (both low-code and pro-code).
- Strong, independent, ownership focused technical leader requiring minimal oversight including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Design and/or development experience with complex, integrated, high volume applications for resiliency and performance leveraging both application (e.g. caching, replication) and infrastructure components (e.g. load balancers, clustering)
- Knowledge of security aspects of integrated system design and associated protocols e.g. AAA, token based auth, encryption
- Process expertise across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) i.e. requirements definition, build, test, deploy, release, operate
- Ability to provide clear, concise technical guidance to the delivery partners along (e.g. developers, engineers) with comprehensive status communication to program management (e.g. product owners, scrum masters)
- Ability and desire to perform hands on POC work to comprehensively assess applicability and impact of technology and patterns to our solution designs
