Key Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for maintaining dedicated wide area internet and data connections across the AT&T network to customer locations worldwide, supporting services delivered at various speeds. The individual will work as part of a team supporting multiple services and markets, with the opportunity to quickly learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and technologies.
Is responsible for performing complex technical analysis/troubleshooting of software, hardware and transport facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations.
Provides guidance to CMC Tier-1.5 when needed
Engages higher Tier support when required, including AT&T network core teams
Main point of contact for carriers for complex issues
Main point of contact for IPL, I-SIP and LISA product lines in MOW
Serve as facilitator for Network Reliability Teams for transport issues involving core circuits, bearers, NNI circuits when required
Performs PTT follow up and troubleshooting until transport issue is resolved once ticket is under tier-2 responsibility
Mainly interfaces with carriers and various internal customers (GCSC and ISA). Only interfaces with end customers if relevant information is needed to progress the ticket.
The individual is responsible for, but not limited to, complex technical data validation, equipment list, IP addressing, router configuration, assessment, technical evaluation, technical troubleshooting, problem solving, and application test
Key Requirements:
Strong technical knowledge of routing, network topology, IP subnetting, and TCP/IP protocols, including BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, and EIGRP
Experience with data communications technologies, including OCX, T3, fractional T3, T1 and fractional T1, E1 and fractional E1, DSL, ATM, Frame Relay, and Ethernet
Knowledge of hardware and circuit infrastructure, including SDH, PDH, DWDM, multiplexers, bridges, DACS, and CSU/DSU
Experience with Class of Service, VoIP, LAN technologies, and router configuration/troubleshooting
Hands-on knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routers
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with external customers, contractors, AT&T managers, and non-management personnel to restore service and drive maintenance issues through to technical resolution
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; candidates currently pursuing their degree may also be considered
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience at the Technical Associate level or equivalent required
CCNA certification preferred
Juniper certification preferred
Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish required; additional language skills are a plus
Location: Brno, Czech Republic
Working time: Must be available to work on shifts (8 hours + 1 hour break; 8:00 - 22:00) including weekends and holidays
Type of work: 2 days in the office per week required
Salary range: 48 000 CZK - 73 000 CZK/ month gross. The final salary offer will be carefully considered and determined based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
