We might be looking for you! The sector TWINSCAN Factory is responsible for the production and installation of TWINSCAN systems. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector.
Roles and responsibilities
Supports the FAB or LAB organization by maintaining, initiating and implementing technical improvements and drives the change by implementation of the Lean transformation roadmap. There is a focus on preventing issues and achieving the right quality.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible to maintain and provide up-to-date procedures and blueprints / sequences, that meet the safety and quality requirements and comply with the applicable standards. Validate procedures and blueprints / sequences on the shop floor.
Use technical knowledge and experience to contribute in improvement projects
Define the required quantity and secure the availability of production tools, initiate upgrades, support maintenance actions and solve safety issues
Optimize the production process and perform issue tracking/solving to be able to transfer the product into the volume organization
Gathers structural issues and brings knowledge to (new) product development projects, in order to foresee production issues in the design phase and become more cost effective
Analyses the production process within the pilot factory, points out structural problems and bottlenecks, works out suggestions for improvements and initiates their implementation, often in close cooperation with Development, Operations, System Install and Supply chain Engineering
Education and experience
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics or other relevant technical area
Minimum 2 years of experience in a production environment
Skills
Excellent English language level in speech and writing
Great communicative skills; a real team player
Effective interpersonal capabilities; ability to convince others
Flexible, can cope with stress
Strong analytical mind
Knowledge and experience with SAP and MS office
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Other information
For this vacancy we work together with the FAB and LAB department. Depending on the open positions you will be selected for FAB or LAB.
The holder of this position reports to the group lead within the Production Engineering department (LAB).
Please note that for this role you don't work in shifts.
