As a Computational Physics Engineer, you play a key role in advancing ASML’s metrology technology. Your work contributes directly to the speed, accuracy, and performance of the computational software that shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing. You will develop cutting-edge electromagnetic models that enable deeper insights into complex optical measurements used around the world.
In this role, you join a dynamic team that combines optical modeling and metrology inference expertise. You focus on developing next‑generation electromagnetic solvers and integrating them into ASML’s metrology solutions.

You will work within the Development & Engineering sector, in the Modeling and Inference Group of the Applications business line. The team is located in the Netherlands and collaborates globally with ASML Research and other engineering groups. The role may involve occasional travel.
