We are looking for an exceptional Interactive Localization Producer who is both a strategic leader and a collaborative partner - someone who can navigate complexity, lead high-performing teams, embrace emerging technologies to drive smarter ways of working, and help shape the future of Apple's digital presence in Japan.
The Digital Localization Producer is responsible for overseeing the localization of Apple's global marketing websites and email communications for the Japanese market. This role goes beyond delivery - driving the strategic prioritization of concurrent projects and determining how work is assigned to project leads to ensure optimal resource allocation and flawless execution.
Central to this role is direct ownership of evolving localization practices, with project leads making real-time decisions on project sequencing and ownership to keep work moving at pace.
This role actively contributes to localization platform evolution, including requirements gathering with localization and market-specific insights to support continuous technical and creative innovation. A key part of this role is identifying and implementing workflow and tooling improvements - leveraging AI and emerging technologies to drive scalability, efficiency, and smarter ways of working across the team.

- Lead and manage project leads to deliver flawless localization across global marketing websites and email communications, covering global product launches, seasonal campaigns, corporate initiatives, and sustain projects
- Strategically prioritize concurrent projects in real time, making deliberate decisions on how and when work is assigned to project leads, while managing risk and resources and continuously refining end-to-end delivery processes to drive innovation and improvement. Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and able to bring structure and momentum back on track
- Navigate complex matrixed organizations, keeping relevant stakeholders continuously updated and seeking appropriate alignment before execution
- Actively contribute to localization platform evolution, including requirements gathering and providing localization and market-specific insights. Lead the rollout of new platforms to enable production scalability and efficiencies, assessing local organizational and workflow needs and identifying structural, talent, and external agency impacts
- Drive workflow and tooling improvements leveraging AI and emerging technologies to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
- Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with creative, development, and cross-functional teams across Japan and WW, and to be able to formulate a fair and reasonable POV to negotiate with WW counterparts or local cross-functional producers at a project level
- Manage Release Operations for both localization and origination across Interactive, Channel Interactive, and Markets projects in a structured and scalable way
- Manage a team of project leads within external agency teams, overseeing their budget, resource allocation, deliverable quality, and ongoing training to meet the highest standards of project delivery
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Business level proficiency in Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills in both languages
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in a leading digital creative agency, in-house marketing communications, or digital marketing department
- Experience managing teams or external agency partners
- Flexibility to work during non-business hours as needed to support global product launches, campaigns, and other business critical requests
- Ability to travel abroad
- Demonstrated track record of strategic leadership in project delivery - excellent project and time management skills to prioritize and deliver complex programs with ambiguity in fast-paced environments under tight deadlines
- Proven experience identifying and implementing workflow and tooling improvements, with working knowledge of AI tools, data analytics, and emerging technologies to drive operational efficiency
- Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills, with an ability to work closely across creative, development, and cross-functional teams to solve problems and drive results
- Strategic thinker, comfortable navigating complexity and ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
- Experience leading large-scale localization or digital marketing projects, including large-scale website builds and digital campaigns
- Hands-on experience with large-scale corporate digital platforms using enterprise-level content management systems, including contributing to CMS requirements gathering and platform rollouts
- Committed to excellence with an outstanding attention to detail - while not necessarily a designer by trade, has a "design eye" and can spot inconsistencies in UI or deviations from design frameworks, and is relentless in making sure final deliverables are of Apple standards
- A working knowledge of technologies behind websites (HTML/CSS/Javascript), and comfortable communicating with developer/technology SMEs to troubleshoot issues
- Expert knowledge of modern website management including : responsive design, design frameworks, release operations, and accessibility
