The Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) organization is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Program Manager to join our team. This is a unique, high-impact role where your primary focus will be driving operational readiness and coordinating directly with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to ensure seamless product ramps. In addition to owning these core program operations, you will also bridge supplier quality by driving local and global vendor management and ensuring test equipment quality. A blend of operational execution, cross-functional project management, local and global vendor management, and quality engineering is essential to our success.
As a key Engineering Program Manager in our organization, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of factory test equipment—from initial material planning to vendor qualification and factory deployment. You will identify operational gaps across LOBs and functional teams and drive initiatives that deliver scale and efficiency.
Build Readiness (CTB): Lead Clear-to-Build (CTB) tracking for test stations, proactively identifying equipment shortages, highlighting material constraints, and driving expedited solutions to protect development schedules.
Equipment Allocation & Delivery: Oversee the allocation, delivery, and lifecycle management of test equipment. Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure equipment readiness strictly aligns with the fast-paced product development lifecycle.
Process Optimization & Factory Rollout: Lead pilot deployments of new test equipment and operational processes across factories. Consolidate issues, evaluate performance metrics, and drive iterative improvements for seamless global, multi-factory rollouts.
Vendor Management: Act as the primary interface between HWTE, local and global test equipment vendors, and Contract Manufacturers (CMs). Drive vendor capabilities assessments, and continuous improvement programs.
Preventive Excellence: Perform root-cause analysis on vendor quality issues and test fixture failures. Drive Supplier Corrective Action Requests and ensure robust, long-term corrective and preventive actions are implemented by vendors.
