Calibration Algorithm Architect
AppleCupertino, California, United States$181,100 - $318,4007+ years
Apply Apple builds consumer electronics that have touched millions and changed the way people interact with electronic devices around the world. These products have cameras and other optical technologies that need calibration and testing to ensure the quality and customer experience Apple is known for.
The HWTE group is responsible for developing technologies, calibration methodologies, and instrumentation for the calibration and testing of cameras and other sensors in every single Apple product before it leaves the factory. These solutions will be developed during New Product Introduction (NPI) before they are scaled by the operations team. Are you ready for your next adventure?
As part of the Hardware Test Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing frameworks and software tools used by calibration algorithm developers and factory station software engineers. You will work closely with system design leads and the production teams to understand the software needs for factory test stations and develop software solutions to enable hardware testing of Apple products.
You will also evaluate and extend existing algorithm implementations in C++ and/or Python to support new metrology methods and measurement capabilities.
