Are you passionate about shaping the future of apprenticeship programs at scale? We are seeking a Program Manager to lead apprenticeship initiatives across multiple and dynamic portfolios, transforming how we develop talent and build careers. In this role, you will drive the complete apprenticeship lifecycle—from onboarding through end point assessment to conversion—impacting hundreds of apprentices while partnering with external training providers, apprentices, line managers, and internal stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to combine your program management expertise with apprenticeship knowledge to create meaningful impact. You will navigate UK apprenticeship funding rules, align stakeholders across the business, and ensure apprentices have the resources and support they need to succeed. Your work will bridge external vendor relationships with internal business needs, ensuring apprenticeship curricula align with operational requirements while maintaining compliance and driving outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
Manage and prioritize the complete apprenticeship program lifecycle across multiple portfolios, coordinating with external training providers, apprentices, line managers, and internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes from onboarding through end point assessment and conversion
Partner with external apprenticeship training vendors and internal teams to monitor apprentice performance, identify barriers to success, and implement solutions that support hundreds of apprentices simultaneously while ensuring compliance with UK apprenticeship funding regulations
Define program success metrics and apply data-driven insights to optimize apprenticeship operations, maintain accurate dashboard reporting, and create action plans that improve apprentice progression and business alignment
Collaborate with the business to ensure apprenticeship curricula meet operational requirements, working cross-functionally to balance apprentice development needs with business goals and employer provider standards
Coordinate with recruitment teams to ensure smooth apprentice on-boarding and conversion processes, proactively clearing blockers, managing timelines, and communicating program status to stakeholders at all levels
A day in the life
You will engage with external apprenticeship training providers to review performance data and address apprentice development needs. Your day includes communicating with apprentices and their line managers to track progress, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate milestones. You will onboard new apprentices, ensuring they have the tools and guidance for success. Collaborating with business teams, you will align apprenticeship curricula with operational needs while maintaining dashboard accuracy. You will also partner with internal recruitment teams to ensure apprentice hiring and conversion processes run smoothly and meet business requirements.
