Tax Analyst, R&D Tax Credit

Amazon is seeking a Tax Analyst to join our R&D tax team. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, who will roll up their sleeves to deliver accurate results on multiple projects with competing deadlines. This role will require preparation of R&D tax credit calculations as well as assistance with responding to ad hoc requests for data from various teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Assisting with US and state R&D tax credit calculations, documentation, tax forms, and reporting obligations;
- Assisting with non-US R&D tax credit calculations, documentation, tax forms, and reporting obligations;
- Provide assistance for US and International tax controversy related to R&D credits.

Basic Qualifications

- Master's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of at least one data-focused technology tool, such as Python, SQL, Alteryx, Amazon QuickSight, or similar
