Transform the way Amazon Advertising India sales teams are motivated and rewarded. As a Financial Analyst on the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) & Insights team, you will be the operational backbone of India's sales compensation program — managing end-to-end incentive calculation, quota operations, payout execution, and program governance. You'll work at the intersection of Finance, Sales, HR, and Technology to ensure our sales teams are compensated accurately, on-time, and in alignment with business objectives.
This is a foundational role on a newly established team, offering the opportunity to build India's SIP program from the ground up — designing processes, creating SOPs, and establishing the operational rigor that will scale with the business.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sales incentive compensation program for India Ads Sales, including quota distribution, attainment calculation, payout processing, and revenue adjustments
- Support the day-to-day administration of the Incentive tool, including plan setup, quota shifts, compensation adjustments, and data validation
- Develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all SIP operational processes — payout cycles, dispute resolution, crediting rules, and governance cadence
- Build and maintain payout simulation models and cost scenarios to support plan design decisions and budget planning
- Execute quarterly/monthly commission payout processes including manual adjustments, reconciliation, and approval workflows
Investigate and resolve quota and compensation payout inquiries
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales excellence, HR, Legal, Payroll, and BI to ensure seamless program execution
Establish robust milestone tracking, input management, and stakeholder coordination across all workstreams
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of finance experience
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
