The Bin Meister collaborates closely with the ICQA Manager to manage bin capacity optimization, maintain accurate bin configuration
records, coordinate inventory movement, and drive optimal space utilization across the facility. This position also provides critical data
and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigation of quality defects, and ensures compliance with ICQA-related
SOX requirements.
Key job responsibilities
Bin Capacity Management and Optimization
• Assist ICQA Manager with bin capacity management and provide updates on utilization metrics.
• Audit bin utilization across the facility and provide recommendations on consolidation activities.
• Identify consolidation opportunities and help to create or modify consolidation plans.
• Coordinate the execution of consolidation plans and projects to maximize space efficiency.
Bin Configuration and Maintenance
• Process requests to create new bins or modify existing bins, both virtually and physically on the floor.
• Coordinate all bin conversions prior to execution as the facility's Bin Meister.
• Maintain accurate records of floor bin configuration, including detailed floor maps.
• Manage and delete non-existent or obsolete bins from the system.
• Maintain and update building pick paths in coordination with the Outbound department.
Problem Resolution and Investigation
• Investigate and resolve bin-related problems reported by all departments within the fulfillment center.
• Conduct in-depth research of defect trends related to bin configuration and utilization.
• Support root cause analysis for bin-related quality defects and configuration issues.
• Provide operational data and floor-level insights to inform ACES initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting
• Design queries, compile data, and generate reports using Excel and internal systems.
• Provide analytical support for ICQA metrics and operational performance tracking.
• Coordinate the movement of inventory to optimize flow and capacity utilization.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor's degree, or 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems
- Work a flexible work schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends
- Work 40 hours a week
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent
- • Previous experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse environment.
- • Knowledge of ICQA processes and quality assurance methodologies.
- • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
