Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) is seeking an experienced Recruiter to play a key role in attracting and hiring Amazon's future leaders from the student talent pipeline operating in a high volume context.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and lead end-to-end recruiting strategies for high-priority student roles across Amazon business lines, including sourcing, assessment, and selection frameworks
- Proactively identify emerging talent pools and build scalable pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Serve as a subject matter expert on university recruiting trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to inform hiring strategy
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with hiring managers
- Lead the development and implementation of on campus recruiting strategy
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the candidate experience, interview process, and operational workflows
- Partner with AUTA program teams to align recruiting execution with centralized program goals and timelines
- Build and maintain reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into campus recruiting performance and enable proactive course correction
Use data to influence prioritization decisions and resource allocation across the recruiting team
Mentorship & Team Elevation
Coach and mentor junior recruiters (L4/L5), sharing expertise and modeling high standards for recruiting craft, stakeholder management, and operational rigor
Contribute to team capability-building by developing training materials, facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions, and championing a culture of continuous learning
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience recruiting, hiring and developing talent
- Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting analytics tools to manage requisitions and report on pipeline health
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent
- Experience in mentoring, leading, or managing more junior engineers
