Would you like an opportunity to travel and work in multiple EU countries and cultures? The role will be based in Madrid/Milan with 50% of time traveling either domestically within the country or to other EMEA countries.
Key job responsibilities
- Support the E2E design of AMZN infrastructure , providing comprehensive technical feedback, design oversight and quality assessment
- Drive design and value engineering initiatives to foster innovation, enhance customer experience and sustainability and reduce the cost to serve
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Maintain meticulous project documentation and tracking systems
- Learn and apply best practices in pre-construction and construction processes
A day in the life
Your day will be a blend of strategic planning and hands-on project coordination. You might start by leading the design of new buildings and retrofit, coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders, then transition to site visit, meetings with external vendors and finally lead global design innovation initiatives. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, Development Manager, Owner's project management representative or in other Commercial Development and Construction related disciplines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
- Proficient user in English (C1) and local language
- Analytical and organizational capabilities
- Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing cool chains, refrigeration equipment and installations, temperature-controlled environments are considered a strong plus
- French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese (Mandarin), Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications.
