Amazon Shopping Video (ASV) is a new strategic program in Amazon Advertising that leverages the potential of video to help millions of customers find product inspiration through videos. ASV is seeking a *self-driven*, enthusiastic full stack engineer to help accomplish our mission!
We are looking for a strong full stack engineers to design, lead and build E2E video experiences (low-latency rendering and responsive, modern CX). In this role, you'll have significant influence on the team's technical direction and engineering practices. In this role, you will lead and work in niche areas like livestreaming, chat, advertising and video commerce where you will have the opportunity to innovate solving technical problems that are unique and rewarding.

Key job responsibilities
- Build lovable, fluid customer experiences to delight customers to view videos and shop as they watch videos working with a cross-functional group of Engineers, UX + Product team, Marketing.
- Lead a group of Engineers on complex projects that millions of Amazon Customers interact with every day.
- Expertise in modern architecture patterns, state management, and component-based design.
- Experience with design system implementation and component libraries.
- Experience with performance optimization for high-frequency UI updates and complex state changes.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and internationalization best practices.
- Work on a wide breadth of tech (optimize video recommendations, build low-latency rendering systems and responsive, modern CX)

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
