AWS is hiring a Technical Trainer to join the Training and Certification (T&C) team in Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, you will deliver training to developers, administrators, architects, and partners to accelerate adoption of AWS infrastructure services. You will combine a passion for teaching with deep technical knowledge to drive measurable learning outcomes and build strong customer relationships.

In this role, you will deliver training content to developers, administrators, architects, and partners to support adoption and usage of AWS infrastructure services. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help shape the ongoing strategy and mission of the AWS training program.
- Assist in developing & maintaining technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials.
- Deliver instructor-led classroom training to end-user customers and partners on a regular schedule.
- Work with key vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, effective training content.
- Assist in the development of a formalized Train-the-Trainer program for our Authorized Training Center partners and Contractors.
- Mentor and train internal and external authorized trainers as part of a train the trainer program.

A day in the life
You will start the day facilitating an instructor-led AWS technical training session for a cohort of customer developers and architects guiding them through handson lab exercises on core AWS services. Between delivery sessions,you will collaborate with content developers to review and update and tailor course materials, ensuring technical accuracy reflects the latest AWS service releases. You will work alongside the T&C team in Stockholm working back from the customer shaping their training requirements into learning programs. No two days are identical: one week you may deliver foundational cloud training to a new enterprise customer in Stockholm, the next, you may be supporting a cohort of learners working towards their first AWS exam
About the team
You will join the AWS Training and Certification (T&C) EMEA Delivery team — a group of experienced technical trainers and instructional designers focused on accelerating cloud adoption across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The team operates at the intersection of technology, education, and customer success, working directly with enterprise customers, public sector organisations, and AWS Partners. As part of a globally connected T&C organisation, you will have access to a broad network of subject-matter experts, curriculum resources, and professional development opportunities to continuously raise the bar on training quality.
Basic Qualifications
- - Technical degree (e.g. Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
- - Substantial experience in programming, systems architecture, or systems administration.
- - Experience delivering classroom training for technology products or services.
- - Excellent oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.
- - Recent experience architecting, deploying, and operating internet-scale applications.
- - Recent coding experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, .NET, Perl, PHP, Ruby, or Python.
- - Experience with Windows and Linux at the command line.
- - Proven ability to manage a classroom of adult learners with confidence and engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- - AWS Certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect – Associate).
- - Foundational knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- - Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services.
