Amazon's supply chain is one of the most complex logistics networks on the planet. Every day, billions of units move from vendors, manufacturers, and fulfillment centers to customers' doorsteps — and it all starts with inbound. Getting the right product to the right place at the right time, at the lowest possible cost, is what makes everything else work.
The job is simple: make sure every fulfillment center has exactly what it needs, exactly when it needs it. The requirements are almost as simple — we're looking for engineers who aren't afraid of tackling massive-scale optimization, layered complexity, and ambiguous problems to keep Amazon's supply chain moving faster, smarter, and leaner every single day.
If you want to build systems that decide how millions of units flow through the world's largest fulfillment network, then we want to talk to you. If you want to work on optimization technology that balances cost, speed, and capacity across thousands of nodes in real time, we want to talk to you. If you want your code to move atoms — not just bits — and touch the physical world at internet scale, then we want to talk to you!
We're one of the Inbound Supply Chain Optimization team. And we're growing! We're looking for engineers who are passionate about solving hard optimization problems and who love building distributed systems that are scalable, high-throughput, fault-tolerant, and always available. We're looking for engineers who are excited about applying AI to operational challenges and who can drive end-to-end solutions in ambiguous spaces with autonomy and creativity. We're looking for thought leaders and builders because the next generation of supply chain is being invented right here.
