Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the device integration for the Leo direct-to-device (DTD) system. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly influence how quickly and reliably we deploy the DTD constellation and enable service to our customers.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager for DTD Device Integration, you will own the end-to-end technical program strategy for DTD device integration with Leo DTD systems, from architecture and design through verification and deployment.
Join us in shaping the future of satellite communications at Leo.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Program Manager on our Leo DTD team, you'll lead technical program management of DTD device integration across the Leo DTD constellation, ensuring our LEO NTN solutions perform flawlessly in real-world environments.
Drive programs from early architecture and design through integration and qualification testing, ensuring these critical systems meet performance, reliability, and schedule requirements. You'll develop mechanisms and processes connecting Leo engineering and business teams, device vendors and partners, network operators, and software vendors to build the device ecosystem for Leo NTN.
Serve as the central program leader across a diverse set of cross-functional teams—from business development, communication systems, satellite payload hardware, embedded software, to systems integration and test—to ensure device connectivity and performance are delivered for Leo NTN. Success requires deep technical judgment, strong program leadership, and the ability to drive alignment across complex engineering organizations. You will align teams across organizations, remove obstacles, and ensure complex technical programs move forward with speed, clarity, and accountability.
Develop and maintain program plans that track major milestones across feature development, design reviews, integration activities, qualification testing, and end-to-end network readiness. You will proactively identify technical and programmatic risks, build mitigation strategies, and communicate clear status updates to engineering leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organization.
Help transition from early development and qualification of DTD devices into a large-scale DTD device ecosystem supported by the Leo DTD constellation and NTN. You will collaborate with engineering teams as well as device hardware and software vendors, chipset vendors, and test equipment vendors to scale the DTD device ecosystem.
