Marketing AI Product Specialist Intern, Channel Management, Amazon Global Selling

Amazon Global Selling helps businesses of all sizes start local and grow global — directly reaching new customers across Amazon's 19 overseas marketplaces. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total sales come from third-party sellers, and our team plays a critical role in driving that growth.
We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and AI-savvy intern to join our Marketing team as a Marketing AI Product Specialist focused on Channel Management. This is a 0-to-1 product role — you will define and build the product strategy for Amazon Global Selling's owned media channel ecosystem from the ground up, creating scalable systems and tools that power mass communication across Social platforms (WeChat, TikTok, RedNote, Weibo), Mini-apps, Wecom, Email, News Apps, Forums, and content distribution networks.
Unlike traditional PM roles, this position covers the full product lifecycle end-to-end — from writing PRDs and defining product requirements to independently prototyping, building, and shipping solutions using no-code/low-code platforms, AI tools, and automation. This role is designed for aspiring Product Managers who think in systems, move fast, and thrive on turning their own ideas into working products.


Key job responsibilities
• Channel Ecosystem Product Strategy: Define the product vision and roadmap for Amazon Global Selling's owned media channel ecosystem — identifying opportunities to build scalable systems that power multi-platform communication from the ground up
• PRD & Product Design: Write product requirement documents, define user stories, design information architecture and workflows, and independently bring them to life through hands-on building
• Build Channel Management Tooling: Build and iterate on channel management tools using AWS products and automation capabilities — from centralized publishing dashboards to automated cross-platform formatting and scheduling
• Measurement & Optimization Frameworks: Establish measurement frameworks (reach, engagement, audience growth, content performance attribution, top-of-funnel conversion contribution) to evaluate channel health, inform investment decisions, and optimize the channel mix
• AI-Powered Channel Innovation: Independently explore and apply generative AI, agent-based architectures, and automation tools to scale channel operations — including intelligent content adaptation, automated publishing workflows, and predictive audience targeting

Basic Qualifications

- Speak, write, and read fluently in Mandarin
- Will graduate during Dec 2026 to Aug 2027 and enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or higher degree program
- Major in product management, computer science, data science, or equivalent field
- Available to work 4–5 days per week for at least 6 months, on-site in Shanghai
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into product requirements and strategic recommendations
- Hands-on builder mindset — able to independently write PRDs and build solutions using generative AI tools, automation platforms, or scripting (Python preferred)
- Self-starter with strong learning agility, comfortable building from scratch and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in product management, marketing technology, or channel operations (internship or project-based)
- Exposure to building AI-powered workflows, automation systems, or applications (e.g., using APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, no-code AI platforms, or marketing automation tools)
- Familiarity with China's social media ecosystem (WeChat, TikTok/Douyin, RedNote/Xiaohongshu, Weibo) and content distribution mechanics
- Understanding of content management systems (CMS), publishing tools, or editorial workflow platforms
- Familiarity with e-commerce, cross-border trade, or SaaS product marketing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in ambiguous situations
- Master's degree program enrollment is a plus
