Amazon is looking for a Capacity E2E Program Manager to join the Transportation Capacity Planning team in São Paulo - SP.

As Capacity E2E Program Manager you will own end-to-end capacity planning across all transportation miles (First Mile, Middle Mile Ground and Air, Sort Centers, Last Mile, 3P carriers) and work with speed team, network design, supply chain and fulfillment centers to ensure network capacity to deliver the best experience for our customers. This role leads cross-functional coordination with Transportation Capacity Planning stakeholders across all miles, driving alignment and accountability to maintain reliable customer service levels through effective capacity management strategies.
We're seeking candidates with proven experience in transportation or logistics operations who take ownership of complex, ambiguous problems and deliver results with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate influences cross-functional teams without authority, thinks strategically while executing tactically, and has a track record of building scalable mechanisms. Experience in capacity planning, network optimization, or similar operational roles is essential.
Key job responsibilities
• Owns the analysis of demand forecasts and capacity plans, proactively identifying potential gaps or imbalances between supply and demand and driving mitigation strategies before they impact customers;
• Leads the monitoring of planning metrics, comparing actuals against plans (Daily/Weekly/Monthly), conducting root-cause analysis on deviations, and holding stakeholders accountable to corrective action plans;
• Designs and maintains scalable capacity tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that provide network-wide visibility and enable data-driven decision-making;
• Leads cross-functional initiatives with Operations teams to resolve systemic bottlenecks in the transportation network, implementing long-term solutions rather than reactive fixes;
• Defines and implements standardized frameworks and best practices for capacity planning across different transportation modes, raising the bar for the organization;
• Drives alignment through regular engagement with Capacity Planning Managers across all transportation miles, influencing priorities and ensuring current and projected capacity levels meet business needs;
• Owns forecast accuracy improvement programs in partnership with Supply Chain teams, defining methodologies, tracking progress, and delivering measurable improvements;
• Influences capacity planning strategy through data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, owning the narrative in business reviews and operational calls.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in program or project management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience in transportation and supply chain
