The Senior Corporate Investigator is responsible for independently leading data center
investigations and supporting corporate investigations involving internal theft, vandalism, fraud, suspicious activity, and violations of company policy. This role reports directly to the Global Investigations Manager and serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data center security investigations within the Global Investigations team.
The Senior Corporate Investigator utilizes expertise and judgment to select stakeholders, determine the right goals, inform decisions, and design long-term solutions for investigative challenges across both data center and corporate environments. Investigations range from complex to highly complex in nature, and the Senior Corporate Investigator is expected to handle these with independence—finding a path forward in difficult situations and mitigating long-term risks. This role works both tactically and strategically, determining where to simplify or extend solutions for the best outcome. The Senior Corporate Investigator drives team(s) and partners to meet program and product goals, manages cross-functional projects, and may manage global projects related to data center investigations and/or corporate security initiatives as necessary.
Key job responsibilities
● Lead data center investigations and support corporate investigations involving theft, fraud, vandalism, unauthorized access, and policy violations from initiation through adjudication
● Serve as the SME for data center security investigations, providing strategic guidance and best practices to the Global Investigations team and cross-functional partners
● Analyze CCTV footage, access control systems, and other data collection tools to identify behaviors, root causes, evidence, and persons involved
● Conduct advanced interviews of victims, witnesses, and persons of interest, independently managing complex or sensitive matters
● Manage a complex caseload with overlapping deadlines, escalating matters to the Global Investigations Manager as appropriate
● Lead projects related to data center or corporate security initiatives, driving cross-functional teams and partners to meet program goals
● Drive operational excellence best practices, improving investigative processes and cross-functional efficiency
● Compile, publish, and analyze case management metrics to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements
● Develop and deliver presentations and communicate effectively with leaders up to three tiers above level and cross-functional audiences across Security, Legal, HR/ER, Facilities Department, and external partners on investigative findings, trends, and program updates
● Produce clear, concise investigative reports and written products that communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendations to customers and stakeholders
● Mentor peers and other investigators
● At least 50% domestic and international travel required

The Enterprise Protection Program – Global Investigations (EPP-GI) team is a specialized unit within Corporate Security & Investigations dedicated to safeguarding personnel, information, and assets across the global enterprise. Operating across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions, the team conducts investigations ranging from internal theft and fraud to external threats and policy violations. EPP-GI embraces continuous process improvement, innovation, and shared risk management, fostering a collaborative environment where investigators support one another and local stakeholders across global locations. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a related field
- 7+ years of Incident Management, Threat Management, Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Crisis Management or related field experience
- Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
- Experience in a data center or other critical environment
- Experience with access control and CCTV systems
- Experience solving complex investigations or escalations
- Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in facility/corporate security management, law enforcement, risk management, legal, or related industries
- Experience in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans
- Experience with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) certification
- Experience managing investigations in a global organization; private sector experience preferred
- Experience with data analytics or trend analysis to identify patterns in security incidents
