Our Supply Chain Managers are instrumental in orchestrating one of the world's largest and most sophisticated supply chain operations, ensuring seamless delivery experiences for millions of customers worldwide. As a Supply Chain Manager (CAM), you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Amazon to optimize our Relay Carrier Supply Base within the Middle Mile Network (MMN). You will analyze critical performance and compliance metrics to ensure we maintain a high bar for quality in the network. Through data-driven insights and strategic relationship management, you'll develop and implement solutions using AI, improve network reliability, and drive operational excellence. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, helping us create more efficient, sustainable, and customer-focused supply chain solutions while optimizing costs and reducing environmental impact.
Key job responsibilities
This role focuses on maintaining day to day operations along with delivering specific long-term strategic programs within the Amazon Network. The primary responsibilities include:
- Act as the senior owner of executive escalations relating to carrier enforcement
- Lead a team of 6 supply chain managers: communicate the vision, lead their growth and development, deliver team goals.
- Developing and executing strategies to improve reliability of the Amazon transportation network
- Collaborating with program and product teams to translate carrier feedback into key risk products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure we maintain a balanced view between risk and capacity.
- Own the overall health of the EU carrier network, ensuring carriers meet Amazon's safety, compliance and integrity standards.
- Lead all carrier enforcement activity end-to-end and ensure timely, documented follow-through with carriers
About the team
Carrier Capacity & Compliance Management team manages end-to-end carrier lifecycle from onboarding a carrier, growth/engagement within Amazon Relay and ensuring compliance with Amazon and EU operating policies.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Advanced degree
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in team management
- Experience in cross functional project delivery
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in supply chain
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in a combination of the following domains: corporate security management, transportation/supply chain operations or aviation security
- Experience in logistics
- Experience driving technological and process innovation
- Experience hiring and leading a high-performance team
- Experience analyzing data and creating reports for leadership
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
