Amazon’s Global Emergency Services team is building next-generation capabilities that connect customers with emergency assistance through Amazon’s Direct-to-Device (D2D) technology. As a Senior Product Manager – Tech, you’ll define and deliver products that have the potential to improve safety for hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.
This is more than building software, it’s creating resilient, mission-critical services that operate across satellite networks, wireless infrastructure, public safety organizations, and Amazon technologies.
What you’ll do
You’ll serve as the single-threaded owner responsible for defining the product strategy, technical vision, and execution roadmap for critical emergency communication capabilities.
You’ll partner with engineering, satellite networking, public safety partners, and cross-functional Amazon teams to solve complex technical challenges while delivering seamless customer experiences.
Key job responsibilities
Own the long-term product vision and roadmap for Global Emergency Services capabilities.
Define customer needs and translate them into scalable technical product requirements.
Drive integrations across satellite, wireless, cloud, and public safety systems.
Influence engineering architecture and technical direction to deliver highly reliable services.
Lead cross-functional programs spanning engineering, operations, legal, policy, and external partners.
Prioritize product investments using customer insights, operational data, and business objectives.
Launch globally scalable services while continuously improving customer experience and operational excellence.

Export Control Requirement:

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
