You'll have unique access to Prime's strategic roadmap and collaborate with global Prime teams worldwide, providing financial leadership on transformative projects—from live sports broadcasting rights acquisitions to innovative Prime benefit enhancements. This is a 12-14 months contract (maternity leave coverage) where you'll leverage your financial modeling expertise and business partnership skills to evaluate multi-million dollar investments, identify growth levers, and ensure financial accountability while helping APAC Stores achieve ambitious Prime penetration and engagement goals.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with Prime and Customer Lifecycle business leaders to develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives including Prime benefit enhancements, customer acquisition programs, and retention strategies that drive membership growth and engagement
- Analyze complex, large-scale investment opportunities such as content acquisition, pricing strategies, and promotional programs, modeling scenarios that balance short-term financial impact with long-term strategic value creation
- Drive core financial processes including monthly business reviews, ROI assessments, and performance tracking for Prime and Customer Lifecycle metrics, holding business partners accountable for delivering key results
- Conduct deep-dive financial analyses on customer behavior, spending patterns, and engagement trends to identify opportunities for Prime member growth and increased purchase frequency across the marketplace
- Collaborate with worldwide Prime finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders to share insights, align on financial frameworks, and influence strategic decisions that optimize capital allocation and resource prioritization
A day in the life
You'll start your day reviewing performance dashboards for Prime membership metrics and engagement trends, preparing insights for your partnership meetings with Prime and Customer Lifecycle leaders. Mid-morning, you might dive into building financial models for a new Prime Exclusive Deals initiative, analyzing trade-offs between short-term margin impact and long-term customer lifetime value. Your afternoon could involve collaborating with global Prime finance colleagues to discuss approaches for evaluating content investments, followed by presenting your analysis and recommendations on marketing spend efficiency to senior leadership.
About the team
You'll be part of the Stores Finance organization, reporting to the Senior Manager overseeing Marketing, Prime, Customer Lifecycle and Delivery Experience Finance. Our team manages the financial strategy and business case development for investments that acquire and retain customers, with a particular focus on the Prime program—one of Amazon's most strategic membership offerings in APAC.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience in a similar Finance Manager or Senior Finance Business Partner role
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
- Proven ability to build and manage financial models for forecasting and problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA or related discipline), or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to inform business decisions with proven business impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertising
