About the Role
AWS Professional Services is looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure & Application Development Consultant to join our growing team in Taiwan. In this role, you will work hands-on with customers across Semiconductors, Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, Public Sector, and Financial Services (FSI) to design, build, and deploy cloud-native infrastructure and modern applications on AWS.
You will be embedded with customer teams, driving technical delivery of cloud migration, modernization, and greenfield application development projects. This is a delivery-focused role where you will write code, build infrastructure, and directly enable customers to operate confidently on AWS.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions including networking, compute, storage, and security architectures on AWS for enterprise customers
Develop cloud-native applications and modernize legacy workloads using containers (ECS/EKS), serverless (Lambda), and microservices patterns
Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices to accelerate customer delivery
Collaborate with customer engineering teams to migrate and refactor applications for the cloud, ensuring operational excellence and cost optimization
Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to enable customers to operate independently post-engagement
Participate in internal communities of practice, sharing learnings and reusable patterns across the ProServe team

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, cloud infrastructure engineering, or DevOps, with hands-on delivery of production workloads
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS (or equivalent cloud platform), including services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and IAM
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript, Go) and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK)
- Demonstrated experience building CI/CD pipelines, container-based architectures, and automated deployment workflows in enterprise environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, AWS Developer – Associate, or AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Experience delivering cloud projects in one or more of the following industries: Semiconductors, Hi-Tech/Electronics, Manufacturing, Public Sector, or Financial Services
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), service mesh, observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus/Grafana), and operational automation
- Familiarity with industry-specific workloads such as EDA tools, HPC batch processing, IoT/OT data pipelines, or financial transaction systems
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment with direct customer-facing delivery responsibilities
- Knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and data residency requirements relevant to Taiwan's regulatory environment (e.g., FSC, government security classifications)
- Experience with database migration/modernization (e.g., Oracle to Aurora/PostgreSQL, Teradata to Redshift) or application refactoring from monolith to microservices
