Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person to help develop a world-class logistics process that delivers goods on time at the best cost as part of our Line Haul ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) team. Our team contains subject matter experts focusing on end-to-end transportation processes who identify and drive improvement opportunities across the Amazon network. This person will work with all teams in the organization to develop quality metrics and execute cross-functional projects.
As an integral part of the ATS team, the Business Analyst will work to reduce defects. The ATS team works with Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Delivery Stations, Supply Chain, Carriers, and partners.
Key job responsibilities
- Generating/extracting data from our BI databases to support dive deep activities
- Prioritizing, optimizing and delivering timely updates for metrics
- Automating reports and tools with a combination of SQL, Excel
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data/analysis to help drive projects
- Uncovering trends and correlations through data mining and analysis to develop insights that can improve the business and help make effective decisions
- Building dashboards and tools that will allow our team and cross-functional partners to self-service their data needs whenever possible
- Graphically expressing data to allow easy access and understanding for a broad range of people

About the team
NAST - PAS is products, analytics and science team supporting the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) organization. We support NAST-CX Products, Program Management teams,ACES, TOMY, TOM labor plan & Finance, TOM Yard Center of Excellence (YCOE) with deep dive tools, data infrastructure creation, metrics development, and data insights. NAST - Analytics and Science partners with stakeholder teams throughout the product life cycle, business intelligence and science process through identifying key business problems,business metrics, aligning on business logic, creating and managing data pipelines, and delivering automated metrics decks, tools, and dashboards.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Tableau
- Experience using very large datasets

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
