We're seeking a Principal Account Executive who can develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for multi-divisional companies, accelerating customer adoption while exceeding revenue targets. In this strategic role, you'll articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services, execute complex deals, and leverage relationships with both internal stakeholders and partners to further customer adoption of AWS solutions.
As a Principal Account Executive, you'll have the opportunity to interact with global customers on transformative projects that can impact entire industries. Your expertise in developing comprehensive customer strategies and leading cross-functional AWS teams will be essential in delivering exceptional customer outcomes and driving year-over-year revenue growth.
Key job responsibilities
The Principal Account Executive is responsible for teaming with all aspects of the customer’s organization. This includes C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales. Skills required to build relationships across an account include creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all Semiconductor / High Tech customer's needs.
The Principal Account Executive is responsible for selling at the most strategic (C-level) within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
The Principal Account Executive works collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests, and will understand how to strongly advocate for the customer in harmony with what the AWS business needs.
In addition to new service adoption and new line of business development, this role includes dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.
A day in the life
Your day begins with reviewing customer engagement strategies and aligning with your team on priority initiatives. You'll spend time developing and implementing strategies for multi-divisional global companies, leading a cross-functional team of AWS resources in serving customer needs. You'll engage with senior executives to understand their business challenges, facilitate solution discussions with technical teams, and coordinate internal resources to ensure seamless delivery. Throughout the day, you'll be strategizing on approaches to accelerate cloud adoption and measuring progress against key business outcomes.

- Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience- Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals
- Experience in sales or sales management of infrastructure or cloud technology

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
