The Telco, Media, Entertainment, Gaming, Software & Internet (TMEGS) team is looking for an Account Manager to own and grow relationships with key Digital Native accounts — high-growth technology companies that are born in the cloud and operate at scale. The role requires a proven track record of successfully driving cloud adoption, engaging with executives, engineers, and technical leaders within dynamic, technology-forward companies. The ideal candidate will have a mixture of business and technical experience that enables them to deeply understand the challenges and opportunities unique to digital-native businesses.
The ideal candidate will have a business background that enables them to drive engagements and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical understanding that allows them to easily converse with engineers, architects, and product teams. They should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. Experience working with internet, software, or gaming companies is highly valued.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share across a portfolio of key Digital Native accounts
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans tailored to the needs of cloud-native, high-growth customers
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services, including compute, AI/ML, data analytics, and modern application development
- Accelerate customer adoption of new AWS services and workload migrations
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline with clear visibility into deal progression
- Work with the AWS partner ecosystem and cross-functional teams (Solutions Architects, Business Development, Product teams) to extend reach and drive adoption
- Understand how Digital Native customers make buying decisions, including their engineering-led procurement processes and multi-cloud strategies
- Manage contract negotiations, including enterprise agreements and committed spend deals
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, product, and business functions
- Set account strategy and lead internal account teams through informal leadership

As an Account Manager for Digital Native accounts, you are responsible for delivering quota targets while building deep, trusted relationships with some of the fastest-growing technology companies in the region. You set the strategy for your accounts and inspire the #OneTeam — Solutions Architects, Partner Managers, Specialists, and more — to deliver results through tailored programs and investments. This includes understanding how cloud, AI/ML, and modern architectures can unlock new capabilities at scale, and helping customers optimize their existing cloud footprint while expanding into new services. Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience
- 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, SaaS, or internet/technology markets selling to C-level executives and engineering leaders
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating strong familiarity with decision-making processes in technology companies
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing accounts in Digital Native Accounts
- Knowledge of software development practices, cloud-native architectures, and modern application development (containers, serverless, microservices)
- Familiarity with data center, infrastructure, and networking technologies
- Experience with enterprise agreements, committed spend deals, or consumption-based commercial models
- Experience with problem solving and disruptive innovation, developing technology programs, and working across customer organizations
- Understanding of AI/ML, data analytics, and how digital-native companies leverage these technologies at scale
- Strong communication skills to engage with both internal and external customers
