Amazon's Last Mile network is scaling rapidly, and we're growing our fulfillment footprint with hundreds of new sites nationwide. As Senior Manager, Construction Management for AMZL/RSR, you'll lead end-to-end construction delivery across a diverse portfolio of fulfillment and delivery station sites, managing the complete lifecycle from site validation through construction handover. This role demands a builder's mentality: you'll drive innovation in construction methodologies to achieve condensed timelines and frugal cost targets while navigating hundreds of distinct permitting jurisdictions.
You'll lead a high-performing team managing the complete construction lifecycle — from design optimization, RFP process, and permitting strategy through contractor management, quality oversight, and operational handover — while maintaining rigorous financial guardrails. This is a rare opportunity to build at Amazon scale, working cross-functionally with Real Estate, Operations, Design, Launch, Startup, Legal, and external partners including developers, general contractors, architects, and local officials. You'll drive continuous improvement in construction execution, establish scalable processes for rapid growth, and directly impact Amazon's ability to deliver for millions of customers. Success in this role requires thriving in ambiguity, excelling at influencing without authority, and comfortably challenging the status quo.
