If you are an experienced Software Development Manager, we want to talk with you.
The services that power the Blink mobile and web apps live on this team. The Consumer and Internal Services (CIS) team owns the cloud services behind the Blink experience: the APIs the apps call, account identity and authentication, subscriptions and billing, push notifications, and integrations with partners such as Alexa. Millions of users and devices rely on these services every time they open the app, arm a system, or get an alert.
The charter is growing. The team is delivering new capabilities that Blink customers have been asking for. It owns the large-scale data pipelines that feed analytics across the Blink business. And it invents its own developer tools, using AI to help engineers ship better software faster.
You will lead the engineers who own this scope. Part of the job is technical: choosing the right strategic investments under ambiguity. The other part is people: growing engineers and earning the trust of stakeholders across Blink, Ring, and partner teams.
